What Lies Within
HOGWARTS
In its thousand year history, this castle has been many things to many people; a place to call home, a place to discover talents, a place to make friends, a place to learn and a place of safety. And with nearly twenty five years of peace for the wizarding world, Hogwarts has certainly been able to act as all of those things for all of its students. At least until the 2021-2022. For reasons that no one knows, something hidden within the castle was awakened and proceeded to cause intense chaos in its wake, injuring students, staff and any sense that the castle was truly safe. After an eventful year that saw the forced removal of Headmistress McGonagall the Ministry of Magic swept into the school for a full scale inspection...which found nothing.
Though the Ministry has declared Hogwarts safe for the 2022-2023 school year, there are very few people who are fooled. Students and returning staff members cannot forget what they experienced or the nagging feeling that all is not well. Throw in a brand new headmaster and a Ministry Inspector alongside the usual cocktail of emotions and relations that exist in a normal school year and there is trouble just waiting to happen.
